Sponsor a Scholar
Sponsorship helps meet approved education needs while strengthening the mentorship, monitoring and scholar-development support that surrounds each student. You are not simply paying a fee; you are helping create continuity, guidance and opportunity across a scholar’s journey.
Unless Hope Valley Scholars accepts a written restriction, sponsorship gifts are pooled and used where they can best support approved education and scholar-development needs. Where a sponsorship program matches a donor with an individual student, “matched” means the donor may receive updates about that scholar or direct approved funds toward that student, subject to program capacity, privacy and safeguarding requirements.

Volunteer or Mentor
Professionals, educators and community leaders may support scholars through mentoring, career guidance, skills workshops, program assistance or advocacy. We seek volunteers who respect student dignity, maintain appropriate boundaries and are willing to follow Hope Valley’s safeguarding and confidentiality requirements.
Volunteer and mentor roles may require an application, interview, references, safeguarding training, background screening and a signed agreement. Submitting an application does not guarantee placement or direct contact with a scholar.
